Nintendo DS: Single-Cart Multiplayer
Laptop Battery In a recent interview with Gamasutra, Game Developers Magazines online division, legendary game-designers Shigeru Miyamoto and Zelda producer Eiji Aonuma confirmed what has been suspected and eagerly anitcipated for a while now - that the Nintendo DS will allow for single cartridge, multiplayer gaming via the wireless network system that the DS incorporates.
With the increased network speed of the DS, as well as the extra system memory, it is not unreasonable to suggest that most multiplayer games will only require a single cartridge. Similarly to Game Boy Advance titles, F-Zero and Mario Kart - 4 players [and possibly more, though this is unconfirmed] can battle head-to-head.
As yet, Nintendo have refused to reveal their official DS game schedule, nor have they revealed which games will specifically be multiplayer titles, but in the interview, Miyamoto is quoted as saying:
"Whether you've got one DS and one game pack, and your friends have their DSes, you'll be able to download the game from the game pack in one DS wirelessly to your friends and you can all play together wirelessly."
According to the indictment, Jones would steal various IBM and Penguin computer servers from Verisign's warehouse in Virginia and sell them to Johnson. Johnson would then sell the servers to several individuals, who would sometimes place them for sale on eBay. As a result of this scheme, the indictment alleges that Jones and Johnson caused Verisign to lose more than $120, 000 worth of computer equipment. In the indictment, Jones and Johnson are charged in three counts with causing the interstate transportation of stolen property, namely IBM 330 and 335 servers, in violation of 18 U.S.C.
