According to the indictment, Jones would steal various IBM and Penguin computer servers from Verisign's warehouse in Virginia and sell them to Johnson. Johnson would then sell the servers to several individuals, who would sometimes place them for sale on eBay. As a result of this scheme, the indictment alleges that Jones and Johnson caused Verisign to lose more than $120, 000 worth of computer equipment. In the indictment, Jones and Johnson are charged in three counts with causing the interstate transportation of stolen property, namely IBM 330 and 335 servers, in violation of 18 U.S.C.

Desktop Computer Billionaire founder Barry Diller believes that IAC's value is being hindered by its online travel business. That IAC/Interactive is worth more.
Notebooks Diller said IAC plans to split itself in two by spinning off online travel service Expedia.com and related businesses into a company to be called Expedia.The deal is being structured as a tax-free transaction with existing shareholders receiving new shares through a reclassification. Piper Jaffray's guru web analyst Safa Rashtchy said the deal made little difference regardless of which company you looked at; Expedia or IAC.Rashtchy pegged IACI shares to reach $30 on Tuesday, but believed that its dual values will not stand out in further gains.
Lenovo Diller said he will remain at the helm of IAC and co-manage Expedia with Dara Khosrowshahi as its CEO while Diller would be chairman. AdvertisementDiller said in a statement that IAC's travel businesses have enjoyed tremendous growth "to the point where they now represent over 50 percent of IAC's earnings, and dwarf each of our other operations."

Gateway Nipping at Expedia's heels is competitor Cendant Corp (NYSE: CD) that bought travel site Orbitz in September for $1.25 billion and Ebookers Plc, the no. 2 UK travel site, for $404.3 million earlier this month.Shares of IACI closed up $1.53, or 5.9%, at $27.41. Cendant closed up 15 cents at $22.16.
