Oracle to Demonstrate Tight Integration Between Oracle(r)
Database 10g and Microsoft .NET at VSLive! San Francisco
REDWOOD SHORES, Calif. 30-JAN-2006 Oracle today announced it will
demonstrate the tight integration between Microsoft .NET and
Oracle(r) Database 10g, including its latest support for Microsoft
Visual Studio 2005 and ADO .NET 2.0, at the VSLive! Conference at
Moscone West Conference Center in San Francisco, Jan. 29 - Feb.

Conference sponsor Oracle will feature Oracle Developer Tools for
Visual Studio .NET, a
free plug-in that enables
developers to use Visual Studio 2005 to develop and deploy .NET
Framework-based applications with Oracle Database 10g. The new
plug-in will feature an integrated PL/SQL Debugger enabling
PL/SQL developers to debug PL/SQL stored procedures and
functions from within Visual Studio. Oracle's support of Visual
Studio 2005 helps increase developers productivity for building
.NET applications and enables customers to take advantage of the
performance, reliability, scalability and security of Oracle
Database 10g. Attendees can view demonstrations and meet with
Oracle experts to learn more about deploying Oracle on Windows
at booth #800. In addition, attendees will have the opportunity
to try Oracle's free, entry-level database, Oracle Database 10g
Express Edition (Oracle Database XE), on their laptops or pick
up a CD of the software. Overall, Oracle will showcase the
following products and services:
