Laptop Battery The US Department of Homeland Security is closely monitoring the bombings in London which killed dozens of British citizens and crippled that city's mass transit system.
(AXcess News) According a recent cyber survey by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, nine out of every ten companies experienced a computer security incident in 2005. The FBI's survey included a total of 2, scale inquiry. Of those businesses polled, 87 percent said they suffered some kind of cyber attack that affected their computer security, according to the 2005 Computer Crime Survey conducted by the FBI.

According to the indictment, Jones would steal various IBM and Penguin computer servers from Verisign's warehouse in Virginia and sell them to Johnson. Johnson would then sell the servers to several individuals, who would sometimes place them for sale on eBay. As a result of this scheme, the indictment alleges that Jones and Johnson caused Verisign to lose more than $120, 000 worth of computer equipment. In the indictment, Jones and Johnson are charged in three counts with causing the interstate transportation of stolen property, namely IBM 330 and 335 servers, in violation of 18 U.S.C.

The FBI's National Information Sharing System is a major step towards the goal of open information sharing between law enforcement agencies across the country. The FBI will continue to increase access between Regional Data Exchange (R-DEx) and other regional state, local and tribal law enforcement systems."

One example of this sharing, from the St. Louis system, is that the FBI, the Illinois State Police, the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the St. Louis Metropolitan Police, the St. Louis County Police and the St. Clair County (Illinois) Sheriff's Department are able to research each others case information. The program also allows users to update their law enforcement data as frequently as desired.
Gateway "By building our intelligence capabilities, improving our technology, and working together, we have and will continue to develop the capabilities we need to succeed against all threats," said FBI Assistant Director Cassandra Chandler.
