I definately would recommend the Organizer (don t get the old one, get the one made for the Ultra) and keyboard. Makes it into a Roll book instead of a notebook (Organizer unrolls to hold the UMPC and keyboard). Also, after a year (or if your brave), you can upgrade it s memory to 2GB which makes it way better then the UX380N in performance when it comes to multitasking (at least web browsing and writing emails at the same time). I would Rate my 3 devices in order of preference: Unmodified: UX380N (use it alot) Asus R2Hv (use it on trips) Q1U-V (wasn t too happy) Modified: Q1U-V (2GB upgrade, tweaked Vista, Keyboard + Organizer) - Replaced my laptop.. much smaller, lighter, etc.. UX380N - (Reinstalled without all the c@$pware on a single partition, tweaked vista, add Sony MS Pro DUO as Readyboost) - Use it all the time (Yes, I carry both UX380N and Q1U-V with me to work). Asus R2Hv (tweaked vista, upgraded memory to 2GB) - I like this alot, but screen Res is the killer. thinkpad

Qwerty keyboard keys were to close together. I am not a large person, but it looked like you need to be a child to use the keys since they are so tightly packed. If they were about 1/4 more between numbers it would be great. laptop computers

Docks to a nice laptop (SZ - 13 3 - ultra portable - but not too portable). DVI works well desktop computers

Cons:

* Doesn t come with A/C Adaptor ($100+) * Returned the 1st one since it didn t make a connection. * Doesn t snap securely into laptop; just sits on it. * No Audio/Mic jacks * USB aren t actual USB ports but a HUB so wireless mouse/keyboard freezes sometimes think pad

Unfortunately - I believe the Sony SZ is the only nice looking laptop around it s size/weight that has dock option AND has DVI capability (through dock). Thinkpads are ugly. Dell XPS1330, Asus, HP doesn t have a dock. Gateway - no way. Besides a few minor annoyances (audio, usb weirdness) I have it connected to a 24 Samsung LCD through DVI beautifully. repair

Beside the little issues (specially the lack of audio connection) it is a very nice addition to any Vaio SZ line user, I have two of theses, one at work, one at home, it make it a snap to use the computer with a big screen monitor and keyboard and mouse, one thing I particularly like is the ability to hot undock and dock, just pick up the laptop and walk to a meeting, no button to press no nothing, that% much better than my previous ThinkPad laptop dock% keyboard

i ve been on the lookout for a stylish and comfortable laprest for my macbook pro. i usually work on it on the couch and the metal underneath gets very hot to the touch without some sort of barrier. i did not want anything with fans or that attached to macbook, so this was the perfect solution. don t know if i buy that the aluminum acts as a better heatsink than othter materials, but the computer does seem to run cooler and this keeps it off my lap. additionally, the padding is nice and acutally helps me keep my posture while typing. this is a great product and better than many out there. it is light, but feels solid, and compliments the macbook pro. plus, newegg s price is about 10% lower than the manufacturer s price. refurbished

It does what its supposed to do - keep your macbook/pro cooler and improve ergonomics. There is enough padding so it keeps the heat off of you and the wrist support really does work. When I just use the laptop by itself, my wrists begin to hurt after about a hour of use. With the iLap I dont feel any discomfort at all. as400

I dont think its really stylish . The stand is a little flimsy and you can hear it squiggle (I wasn t sure if mine came broken or was supposed to be like that in the first place but now I understand it needs to be that way so that the stand can adjust to your position. Also the velcro has already worn off so I have to manually place the wrist padding. averatec
