New Speakers and Forums Make INBOX the Email Industry's Most All-Encompassing Educational Event
INBOX - The Email Event
GOLDEN, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 7, 2004--The Golden Group, producers of successful independent conferences such as ISPCON for over a decade, today announced details of the broadest, deepest, largest email show and conference ever staged: INBOX - The Email Event(TM), June 2-6 in San Jose, CA. Along with a unique Email Accountability Symposium, CEO Forum, and CIO Forum, recent additions to the 50-session, five-track INBOX event are leading CTOs, CEOs and Chief Privacy Officers (see below for latest 80+ speaker list).
"It's no wonder that email has become such a confusing hotbed of issues since there hasn't been an educational conference -- one open to all and without a bias towards one vendor solution -- that goes beyond a single track and a handful of sessions," said INBOX Conference Director Martin Hall. "A comprehensive view of email is critical. That's what we've heard from corporate IT and marketing, analysts and partners. You must have a vendor-neutral place to bring together the whole email ecosystem."
The conference has attracted over 100 speakers divided into five tracks: Infrastructure, Clients, Security & Privacy, Business & Management, CRM & Marketing. Along with these sessions will be special events that include:
The Email Accountability Symposium, Wed., June 2, 6:30-8:30 -- an
in-depth look at problems in today's email networks and proposed
solutions including SPF (Sender Policy Framework), Microsoft's
CallerID, Yahoo!'s DomainKeys and ePrivacyGroup's TEOS (Trusted
Email Open Standard).
The Email CEO Forum, Fri., June 4, 12:45-1:45 -- a meeting place
of influential senior executives who will discuss the business
that drives email and vice versa. The CEO Forum features Steve
Fox, Editor in Chief of InfoWorld Media Group is joined by CEOs
Dave Anderson (Sendmail), Enrique Salem (Brightmail), Richard
Gingras (Goodmail Systems), Julie Hanna Farris (Scalix) and Gary
Steele (Proofpoint) and many others.
The Email CIO Forum, Thu., June 3, 12:45-1:45 -- Leading CIOs
discuss their current and future issues and concerns, taking the
technology of email into the business realm of day to day
operations.
Participation by the industry's leading forums and technology initiatives also reflects the substance of the conference. Groups include:
1. Anti Phishing Working Group
2. Messaging Anti Abuse Working Group
3. The Email Service Provider Coalition
4. The Spamcon Foundation
5. MSP Alliance
6. Network Professionals Association
