New Laminated Marine Fabric: Softouch by Odyssey
MarChem Coated Fabrics, Inc. announced in January, 2002, that its new ''Softouch by Odyssey'' fabric is gaining acceptance in multiple markets. The laminated marine fabric is designed for boat covers, travel covers and automobile covers.
The product combines the already proven outdoor performance of Odyssey III marine fabric with a soft, non-abrasive, non-woven backing to be utilized on sensitive gelcoats, critical painted surfaces and other delicate objects.
Richard Yale, MarChem Sales Manager said, ''Softouch by Odyssey is already being used to cover antique wooden boats, competition sailboats and carbon masts. One Detroit automaker is considering the product for possible use as a cover product for its concept cars.''
