Toshiba Enhances Preferred Partner Program with Loyalty Features

Program Upgraded to Reward Dedicated Solution Providers and Sales Representatives, While Emphasizing Company's Enterprise and SMB Notebooks

Laptop Battery IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 12, 2004-- Toshiba's Digital Products Division (DPD) today increased support for solution providers who participate in the company's Preferred Partner Program with the introduction of a rewards program that offers incentives to both sales representatives and owner/sales managers to encourage sales of Toshiba's industry-leading mobile computing products.
The Toshiba Preferred Partner Program, a comprehensive channel sales initiative that helps solution providers expand their opportunities in the SMB and enterprise markets with business development and support services, now includes an incentive program for members who deploy Toshiba's line of Tecra(R) and Portege(R) notebooks. For each of these products sold, members will earn reward points toward selection of incentive items in a special catalogue of products. At each member company, one owner/sales manager per branch and the team of sales representatives can qualify for the program.

Gold level members ($100,000 to $250,000 in sales, based on sales from October 1, 2003 to March 30, 2004) will qualify for those same rebate percentages, but will not receive MDF funds, while Silver level members (up to $100,000 in sales, based on sales from October 1, 2003 to March 30, 2004) will no longer receive rebate and MDF incentives.
