Parle speaks out on Caribbean and World Tourism Day

Over the last six weeks the Caribbean has been ravaged by Hurricanes and vicious storms with some islands being left with many months of depleted tourism and a massive clear up operation. What follows is a speech made by CHA President Berthia M. Parle, MBE regarding the event and what needs to be done to rebuild the region.

Parle noted the event was being hosted by Puerto Rico for the first time and the new tourism administration in place was excited about hosting media and tourism officials from the region and North America. "Puerto Rico is very keen on fostering closer relations with the other Caribbean islands, " Parle said.
