Atari Ships DBZ: Sagas
Laptop Battery Atari today announced that Dragon Ball Z: Sagas has shipped to retailers nationwide, and should be available by Friday for purchase. The game, which is available for the GameCube, Xbox, and PS2, allows fans to play some of the most exciting aspects of the popular animated series, from its origins in the Saiyan Saga through the climactic Cell Games.
In the game, players can explore huge levels, defeat boss enemies, collect Dragon Balls, and journey through the Dragon Ball Z universe, including places never fully unveiled in the animated series. Z-Warriors Goku, Vegeta, Trunks, Piccolo, and Gohan are all in the game, and take on bosses like Frieza, Cell, Nappa, Captain Ginyu, and Raditz. The game features fully destructible environments, as well as character upgrades.

Dragon Ball Z: Sagas is rated T [Teen] by the ESRB. The game is priced at $49.99 on the Xbox and PS2, and $39.99 on the GameCube.
While next to no details were revealed about this brand new DBZ RPG, Atari did mention that it will see release this year on Nintendo's handheld. Buu's Fury will take players through arguably what's known as the best saga the DBZ universe has to offer. 7 years after the events of the Cell saga, Gohan, Vegeta and the other Z warriors must face a legendary demon named Buu who fights without reason or mercy.
