85 Percent of Small And Medium-Size Businesses Rely On Local Technology Experts To Ensure Productivity
DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 18, 2004--Up-to-date technology is "crucial" to small and medium-size businesses (SMBs), according to a Hewlett-Packard-sponsored study based on interviews of 501 senior decision makers conducted by Penn, Schoen, and Berland in May, reported the Information Technology Solution Providers Alliance (ITSPA), a national, non-profit group established to help the nation's 22 million SMBs understand how technology can further growth.

"Almost every senior business executive in the United States agrees that up-to-date information technologies, such as computers, are a more valuable asset today than ever," stated the survey. "For most small businesses to survive in today's economic conditions, they need to be technologically on a par with, if not superior to, larger corporations."
