2006 JavaOne Conference To Showcase Extreme Innovations In Java Technology

Call for Submissions to Duke's Choice Awards Now Open

Santa Clara, Calif. March 2, 2006 Sun Microsystems, Inc. (NASDAQ: SUNW) the creator and leading advocate of Java technology, today announced call for submissions to the fourth annual Duke's Choice Awards, which celebrate extreme innovation in the world of Java technology.
Duke's Choice award selection is based on the innovation and creativity of the Java technology-based applications and services, including: web applications and tools, mobile applications and services, games, and card-based applications. Winners will receive a statuette of "Duke," the Java technology mascot and be recognized for their achievement at the at the 2006 JavaOne(SM) Conference. Laptop Battery A new twist on this year's contest is that one of the Duke's Choice award winners will be chosen from the many applications featured on java.com. Five finalists were selected based on the first round of voting. "Polling stations" are now open at http://www.java.com until March 31 to select the winner from among those finalists.

According to the indictment, Jones would steal various IBM and Penguin computer servers from Verisign's warehouse in Virginia and sell them to Johnson. Johnson would then sell the servers to several individuals, who would sometimes place them for sale on eBay. As a result of this scheme, the indictment alleges that Jones and Johnson caused Verisign to lose more than $120, 000 worth of computer equipment. In the indictment, Jones and Johnson are charged in three counts with causing the interstate transportation of stolen property, namely IBM 330 and 335 servers, in violation of 18 U.S.C.
