Sail, dive, earn PADI certifications and learn about marine biology aboard sailing catamarans on a three-week summer teen adventure with Odyssey Expeditions. Free airfare for June and July departures to the Windward Islands voyages!
Young adventurers ages 14-21 may join Odyssey Expeditions on educational adventures aboard 45-foot sailing catamarans exploring the reefs and rainforests of St. Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines and Grenada, diving spectacular sites including the Bianca C cruise-ship wreck, the Tobago Cays Horseshoe reef and the walls of St. Vincent and St. Lucia. Students take the helm and sail through these magical Caribbean islands, hike to the tops of volcanoes, swim in hot-spring waterfalls, earn PADI scuba certifications, dive 30+ sites and take leadership roles and share accomplishments as "Crew in Training" aboard their catamaran. Students also learn about marine biology, animal behavior and ecology with onboard educational programs.
No sailing or scuba experience is necessary to participate. Certified divers will earn Advanced and Rescue certifications as well as five specialty certifications, including Night Diver, Wreck Diver, Underwater Photographer and Deep Diver. New divers will earn Open Water and Advanced Certifications plus Night Diver and UW Naturalist. Students can also learn sailing, seamanship and navigation as they take the helm of their 45-foot sailing catamaran and explore 17 islands on their 21-day voyage. Voyage departures are June 22, July 14 and August 4; tuition is $4390 for 21-day voyages and $3090 for 14-day voyages. Airfare rebate up to $750 will be provided for new students enrolling in 21-day voyages by June 10.
