Active Endpoints Expands J2EE Platform Support for Its BPEL Solutions; Announces ActiveWebflow(TM) Enterprise Beta Programs for WebSphere(R), WebLogic(R) and Sun ONE(TM)

SHELTON, Conn., Feb. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Active Endpoints, Inc., the leading independent provider of services-oriented integration solutions, today announced the public Beta availability of ActiveWebflow Enterprise for IBM Corporation's WebSphere, BEA Systems' WebLogic and Sun Microsystems' Sun ONE application servers.
ActiveWebflow Enterprise delivers enterprise-class BPEL tooling, execution and management capabilities across the broadest available range of deployment platforms. The Beta release of ActiveWebflow Enterprise for WebSphere, WebLogic and Sun ONE complements Active Endpoints' existing BPEL runtime environments -- ActiveWebflow Enterprise for JBoss, an enterprise-class BPEL server for the JBoss community, and ActiveWebflow Standard, a compact, high-performance BPEL server for use in desktop and mobile applications.

ActiveWebflow Enterprise supports each J2EE application server's advanced features such as clustering, connection pooling and Web services. By natively supporting these advanced features, ActiveWebflow Enterprise provides unsurpassed performance, scalability and reliability. In addition, ActiveWebflow Enterprise delivers sophisticated process versioning capabilities, permitting organizations to deploy and manage multiple process versions without disrupting their business operations.

"We are pleased to have reached this important milestone in our product roadmap," said Chris Keller, Active Endpoints' Vice President of Product Development. "ActiveWebflow Enterprise is a cornerstone of our server strategy, and support for WebSphere, WebLogic and Sun ONE is a critical step in the execution of that strategy."
