Named M.O.S.T. (Marietta Open-Search Technology), the system allows officers to search crime reports and relate information found in multiple, separate incident case data, with a search engine. The officers' electronic submission of incident data (via incident reports) had, over the years, built a mountain of data with little or no easy mechanism for them to search and retrieve it for investigation and analysis.
