Gateway In Greek mythology, the Pleiades were seven sisters. The casual naked-eye viewer of the cluster today usually only notices six stars. But the best observers have, under great conditions, seen as many as 18 with the unaided eye. To see many more Pleaid stars than this all you need is a decent pair of binoculars.
