Staff The 9'0" Accelerator is supposed to be a big-guy wave, bump and slalom board: floaty enough to support riders weighing 200 pounds and up, quick onto a plane, smooth on a reach and loose enough to satisfy a real wave rider with its down-the-line capabilities. Does it deliver? One hundred percent. Our guest testers found it easy to ride, and our pros had a blast on it in sizable side-shore surf. Granted, it's not a darty, slashy wave board for average-size riders, but even for them it carved some satisfyingly tight turns. For the big guys it's designed for, it's just the ticket.
