From the taskbar, click the Start button and then choose Settings, Control Panel. The Control Panel window appears (see Figure 14.1).
Simple Control Panel is not available for the operating system you selected. Plesk Control Panel is not available for the operating system you selected. The dedicated server you've selected will be functional without a control panel. However, if you do require a control panel application, please select the Simple Control Panel option or a different operating system.

From the desktop, double-click My Computer and then double-click the Control Panel folder icon. The Control Panel window appears (refer to Figure 14.1).

From Windows Explorer, click the Control Panel folder found in the left pane of the window. The contents of the Control Panel appear in the right panel. These are the same icons that are displayed in the Control Panel window.
Notebooks My Control Panel Isn't Like the One in the Book! Don't be alarmed if the icons in your Control Panel don't match the ones you see in these illustrations. Some of them, such as the mouse, will differ depending on the peripheral equipment you have and who manufactured it.
