Mayor Lists Pros, Cons Of Five Potential Athletic Field Sites

Laptop Battery Here's a look at the five potential sites for athletic fields under consideration by Haddon Township officials. Descriptions of the pros and cons were provided by Mayor William J. Park Jr.

I still gave it 5 stars despite some of the Cons that I listed because, in my opinion, the cons pale compared to the numerous pros of this stroller.

Thinkpad Lees Lane

According to the indictment, Jones would steal various IBM and Penguin computer servers from Verisign's warehouse in Virginia and sell them to Johnson. Johnson would then sell the servers to several individuals, who would sometimes place them for sale on eBay. As a result of this scheme, the indictment alleges that Jones and Johnson caused Verisign to lose more than $120, 000 worth of computer equipment. In the indictment, Jones and Johnson are charged in three counts with causing the interstate transportation of stolen property, namely IBM 330 and 335 servers, in violation of 18 U.S.C.

Katz runs the company with 22 paid employees and 300 volunteers who give technical support to new users and are compensated with free memberships (remember those days at AOL ). He rents space in two AT&T data centers, one in Manhattan, another inSecaucus, N.J., with $700, 000 worth of computer equipment, end servers from Dell Computer and five IBM Unix servers. The $2 million annual payroll is his biggest expense.

Laptop Computer -- Owner: Haddon Township.

(for example, select IBM). A list of laptop models made by IBM will appear.

  • From the list of models, select Thinkpad 560.

Desktop Computer -- Pro: The township already owns the site.

Notebooks -- Con: The site is about 10 acres of mostly wetlands; parts are heavily wooded and the ground is extremely uneven. It's filled with construction and demolition debris, and the township would have to do an extensive environmental study to determine what's underneath the ground after years of dumping. Parking would have to be created.

Lenovo West Collingswood Heights

Hard Drive -- Location: New Jersey and Blenheim avenues.

Travelstar -- Possible use: An additional soccer field.

Gateway -- Owner: Haddon Township.

Laptop Parts -- Pro: The township already owns the site. The ground is flat and the existing fields are relatively new, which could keep the costs of building down.

Software -- Con: The site is away from the township's schools.

Hard Drives Van Sciver School

Electronics -- Location: Valley Drive and Rhoads Avenue.

Canon -- Possible use: Create one additional soccer field by reconfiguring one of the existing fields.

Desktop Pc -- Owner: Haddon Township School District.

Desktop Computers -- Pro: It's conveniently located near the Recchino Complex.

Think Pad -- Con: The school district owns the site. Adding a field would require taking part of the school yard and building a buffer.

Repair MacArthur Tract

Data Recovery -- Location: 25.8 acres at MacArthur and Cuthbert boulevards.

Cisco -- Possible use: Two fields.

Keyboard -- Owner: Haddon Township owns 15.3 acres of tract.

Monitor -- Pro: The township owns 15.3 acres of the parcel. It's conveniently located near existing fields.

Desktop -- Con: The tract is heavily wooded and the ground is uneven. Township engineers estimated the cost of two fields at $1.6 million more than the township anticipated. Some environmentalists say cutting down any trees will hurt a pristine forest.

Infosys Green Valley Tennis Club

Refurbished Laptops -- Location: Crystal Lake Avenue and Valley Drive.

Wipro -- Possible use: One field, or two if the township purchases part of the adjoining property at R Mac's Pub.

Lap Top -- Owner: Green Valley Tennis Club Inc.

Refurbished -- Pro: The site is conveniently located between existing fields at Recchino and Van Sciver. A state Green Acres grant to purchase the club-owned property would make it financially appealing.

Memory -- Con: The township doesn't own it. Residents are opposed to more fields in their neighborhood. The club says it's not for sale.
