Global Revolution Launch Details
Laptop Battery Industry trade site MCV is reporting today that sources close to Nintendo have indicated that their upcoming system, currently dubbed Revolution, likely will not see the light of day in Europe until 2007. According to a Nintendo bigwig the company spoke to, it appears Revolution will launch in the US first, followed by a Japanese launch and finally the European launch.
Revolution will launch towards the end of next year, a senior Nintendo source told MCV. Were currently looking at mirroring the DS strategy, so Revolution would release in the US first in November, closely followed by Japan then were looking at March 2007 for PAL territories.
This is not official news directly from Nintendo, but MCV is a trustworthy source. Nintendo is set to reveal its plans for Revolution by the end of the year, including price, launch time and specs. AMN will certainly be bringing you more info as soon as we get it.
