Cisco to Purchase Intellishield Alert Manager Assets of Cybertrust
Security Intelligence Service Reinforces Self-Defending Network Strategy
SAN JOSE, Calif., November 29, 2005 -- Cisco Systems today announced a definitive agreement to purchase select intellectual property and assets of Cybertrust of Herndon, Va.. Cisco will purchase assets, intellectual property, customer contracts and other components of Cybertrust's security intelligence information service, known as Intellishield Alert Manager.
