Desktop Computer State Sen. George F. Geist, R-4, of Gloucester Township, who also co-sponsored the bill, said more work lies ahead before the two dams in Washington Township can be repaired.

Hard Drive DEP classified the dams as "high hazard," the state's highest classification of unsafe dams. The dam owners said they could not afford the cost of repairing the dams, estimated at nearly $750,000 each.

Gateway The proposed bonding would be split -- $150 million for repairs to dams that pose a threat to public safety and $50 million for wastewater treatment improvements, officials said.
Laptop Parts Anthony Ayres, a resident of Timber Creek development and a former Monroe Township councilman, said that several dams in Monroe Township could also benefit from the law if funding is approved.
Software "We have two dams in the Timber Creek development, Timber Creek and Spruce, and right now we are scheduled to get work done on Timber Creek dam in the fall while work still needs to be done on Spruce. If this comes through, it will be a godsend to the residents of Timber Creek," Ayres said. "If we can get the money we will put it to good use. We have been waiting for this."
Hard Drives Ayres said that 250 property owners in the development who are members of the homeowner's association have picked up the tab for earlier repairs to the dams. Several years ago, they paid approximately $54,000 for repairs.
