Desktop Computer Apple's new software suite includes upgraded versions of Final Cut Pro, DVD Studio Pro, Motion and a new application called Soundtrack Pro. The company said its focus in debuting Final Cut Studio was to help professional high definition video and film producers.Apple said that HD is the future and that while the release of this software may be early, the company believes that HD will become more mainstream in 2005.Final Cut Pro 5 supports working in DV, SD, film or all major HD formats including HDV, DVCPRO HD and fully uncompressed HD.
Notebooks Soundtrack Pro includes full multi track editing and mixing, over 50 professional effect plug-ins from Logic Pro 7 and more than 1,000 professional quality sound effects. It also has utilities for fixing common problems, Apple said.
