Laptop Battery Toll Brothers Inc. is fighting a decision last month by the Alexandria Township Planning Board to deny its application to build 64 homes on a 396-acre tract in Hunterdon County.

Laptop Computers The suit said a statement by one board member -- suggesting that by denying the application, the project could become subject to state Department of Environmental Protection regulations that had been proposed, but not yet adopted -- amounted to "unlawful bias."

Desktop Computer Toll Brothers said the original approval required the testing be done prior to construction, but the board said the testing needed to be done prior to the approval of the final application.
Notebooks Toll Brothers also challenged a requirement that could make it responsible for digging up, repairing or replacing some off-site wells.
