Microsoft Mayor Robert Jackson wanted both resolutions passed. He said the DEP also wants the measures in place. Commissioner Pam Kaithern and Commissioner Kevin Lare wanted more time to make a decision. Lare proposed tabling the resolutions, but he also set up a special meeting to discuss them.

Desktop Computer Kaithern said she also is seeking more information on the resolutions so she can make a "responsible educated decision."

Lenovo The big question for Lare is how the resolutions might affect property owners. Baymor said the resolutions only help property owners since they support compensation. He said restrictions on the lands are already in place due to the tree-frog study.

Gateway Lare, however, said both resolutions are not limited to stating the commission's support. He noted that the titles say the "community" supports protecting environmentally sensitive lands and supports open-space purchases. He said the resolutions should only reflect the opinions of the three commissioners and not assume every resident supports them.

Sunset Boulevard resident Vito Zizzamia quizzed the commission about who will pay to preserve the wetlands the tree frogs breed in. He noted Lower Township has more wetlands in the region and does not seem concerned about protecting habitat.
Software "This isn't the only borough with tree frogs. There is a special-interest agenda going on here. If I invite only environmental groups to look for tree frogs, they're going to find them," Zizzamia said.
