Ingredients BROWNIES- 1 c Flour
- 3/4 ts Salt
- 2/3 c Sugar
- 2
- Egg whites; lightly beaten
- 1/4 c Cocoa powder
- 1/2 c Canned skim milk
- 2 tb Cornstarch
- 1/2 c Applesauce
- 1 ts Baking powder
- 1/3 c Corn syrup
- 1/2 ts Baking soda
- 1 ts Vanilla extract
Ingredients COCOA ICING- 1 c Icing sugar
- 1/2 ts Vanilla extract
- 1 tb Cocoa powder
- 1 tb Milk; skim suggested
Directions - In medium bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, cocoa, cornstarch, baking powder, baking soda, salt until blended.
- In separate bowl stir together egg whites, evaporated skim milk, apple sauce, corn syrup, and vanilla.
- Add dry mixture to wet and stir until just blended.
Directions - Heat oven to 350F.
- Spray 8x8x2 baking pan with cooking spray.
- Bake 30-35 minutes or until cake tester comes out clean.
Directions - Remove from oven and cool.
- Prepare icing: In a medium bowl blend all icing ingredients.
- Beat with wire whisk until smooth.
- Spread on brownies and serve.
