This Week in China, Children Who Play Outside Have Better Eyesight

I meet at various blogs in turn, each person posts part of their work, so everyone shares, we enjoy in pleasant company. Computer is extra work, but a pleasant challenge, to prepare articles that will be enjoyed by other people.
Anyway, take the chance now to reflect a little on what I have:
Children are at greater risk of becoming short-sighted if they do not play outside and instead stay indoors watching TV, reading or playing computer games research has found. Research carried out in Australia on 4,000 schoolchildren found that 12-year-olds who spent the most time doing 'near-work', such as sitting in front of a computer or TV .. read the rest part.
When the going gets very rough or too easy, those who are pursuing the greater good may feel a stronger compulsion to keep on pushing.

The hobby is starting to work. I know I want it, but by now, I am beginning to feel like a dog that has caught a bus: I have no idea what to do with it. This is something cling to me for dear life.
I remember a bunch of years ago when the Sony vx1000 3ccd miniDV camera first came out. This floored people thing. The image quality was like nothing that had ever been seen before on a camera of this nature, and it was pretty much the first serious camera that used the "new" miniDV technology, taking advantage of a firewire transit system that just about any computer (especially macs) could connect to and use.
