Design for durability, Cheap Laptop

Identify what we saw, that is the most common 'universal characteristic': Trying to find out what's for and what can be done with it. Cheap Laptop is easy to observe.
Long story short, let's see this one.
Ever since I first heard about Ubuntu, I've had one eye on it. I was especially drawn to it after the past year of struggling with Vista on a newly puchased laptop. If someone were to ask you what the opposite of Windows was, they might say Mac...But I say Ubuntu. It's light, simple, easy to use and the one thing it has on both Microsoft and Apple...It's free. I downloaded the latest version (8.04) about a month ago, along with the latest version of Kubuntu. I would boot the CD's and run .. full post.
In a modern context, I think I should remember author's message. This whole issue discussed here will be welcomed by wondering readers, not permissive, not undisciplined.
The OLPC has driven important innovations in open software, hardware, universal design and environmental sustainability to be cheap and durable enough for widespread use in developing countries. At this week's unveiling of new designs for second-generation laptops, I spotted this interesting exhibit on the design touches that make the OLPC stand out in terms of durability and do-it-ourself repairability, which like the sunlight-readable displays should trickle their way up into ..other part.
This article is posted on today. The strong idea of the post is worthy, superior, good strong and most of all to make no mistakes are quite impossible to attain.
On paper, Creative's Vado might outclass and out-spec the wildly successful Flip Ultra camcorder it very liberally (like crazy, PETA liberal) takes its cues from, but what about in the real world? Laptop Mag tosses 'em together and finds that while the Vado outpaces the older Flip most respects—it's cheaper, slimmer, more attractive and has a better layout and bigger LCD—the Flip wins where it counts: video quality.
