Nexaweb Launches New DevCenter Web Site with Call for Entries for Rich Internet Application (RIA) Innovation Contest Tech Rex
Contest winners will receive $10,000 in prize money
Boston, MA May 15, 2006 Nexaweb Technologies, Inc., provider of the leading standards-based platform for building and deploying enterprise Rich Internet Applications (RIAs), and TheServerSide.com, the worlds largest online Java community, today announced an open invitation for developers to participate in Tech Rex, the Nexaweb/TheServerSide.com RIA Innovation Contest.
WHAT: Nexaweb and TheServerSide.com challenge developers to build innovative enterprise RIAs using Nexawebs soon-to-be-released Java client, jRex. Submissions will be judged by an expert panel and on the basis of community popularity; winners will receive $10,000 in prize money.
WHEN: The contest runs May 19 through August 31, 2006. Winners will be announced and featured in September 2006 on the Nexaweb DevCenter Web site.
