Orbitz Statement on G2 Switchworks
CHICAGO, Ill., Feb. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Orbitz, LLC filed a lawsuit against G2 Switchworks Corp. and five of G2's officers and employees. All of the G2 defendants were former Orbitz employees. The lawsuit was filed in the Circuit Court of Cook County and alleges that the G2 defendants breached their employment-related agreements with Orbitz, which includes having improperly taken and used Orbitz's confidential information and trade secrets.
At least one current G2 employee has already admitted, in writing, that he "was in possession of and used sensitive documents." That same G2 employee also confirmed that "[t]here is simply no excuse for my actions." Orbitz will vigorously protect the information it has spent vast resources to develop. Orbitz filed this lawsuit to determine what additional information and other property the G2 defendants took from Orbitz, to prevent its further use by the G2 defendants, and to require its return to Orbitz.
