The Joseph Center School of Business and Entrepreneurship Chooses Omnicast from IQue Intellectual Properties, Inc. for Virtual Campus Development

ASHEVILLE, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 9, 2004--The Joseph Center(R) School of Business and Entrepreneurship will use Omnicast(TM) as the presentation tool as they develop their Online Learning Program. IQue Intellectual Properties, Inc. developed Omnicast(TM) as an enhanced presentation tool that displays a video stream, slides, chat, html pages, dynamic e-commerce, and branding in a single browser window.
Omnicast(TM) was developed as a tool for "one to many" online meetings and provides an exceptional online alternative for business leaders who want to travel less. However, we realized early on that the implications for developing an online campus with Omnicast(TM) were tremendous," states IQue President and CEO William Baker. "We are very pleased to be working in partnership with The Joseph Center(R) as their online learning program becomes reality."

The revenue benefits for IQue come from the initial production fee for editing and encoding the video presentation, developing the corresponding supporting graphics, and placing the Omnicast(TM) presentations online. Reoccurring monthly revenue is derived from hosting and distributing the online courses from the IQue broadcast facilities.

The Joseph Center(R) is putting twenty-four courses online initially. These courses were originally developed by the Ohio State University School of Business and are licensed to the Joseph Center(R). Students will enroll online, pay a fee, and attend the classes virtually. While the courses are available on-demand at anytime for the convenience of the student, there are plans to have weekly live classes that students can attend virtually. Live Omnicast(TM) presentations will include online chat that allows students to ask questions of the instructor during the live session. Forms for feedback or tests can be "pushed" into the graphics portion of the Omnicast(TM) browser window creating a truly interactive environment for the virtual student.
