There are many free scripts that will do this for you. But the one I found easiest to install is a script developed by William Bontrager, called 'Master Recommend'. This one was easy. I had it working on my second attempt. Basically all you have to do is (1) configure the cgi script and upload it to your cgi bin, (2) create a new web page with a form that is linked to the cgi script on your server.

In previous versions of Apache, the output from CGI scripts would be internally buffered by the server, and wouldn't be forwarded to the client until either the buffers were full or the CGI script completed. As of Apache 1.3, the buffer to the client is flushed any time it contains something and the server is waiting for rmation from the script. This allows CGI script to provide partial status reports during long processing operations.
