Thinkpad Audubon International recently recognized the course for its efforts to provide a sanctuary for wildlife, designating the course a "Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary."

Gateway The two scout the course frequently, looking for ways to maintain the quality of the ecosystem onsite while minimizing the usage of water, pesticides and fertilizers.
Laptop Parts Laurel Creek has houses for bats, tree swallows and purple martins, all of which like to devour insects and therefore lessen the use of pesticides. "We try to use Mother Nature as our natural pesticide," Holgersen said.
Software The course waters directly onto the dry spots instead of blanketing the course with sprinkler systems and wetting areas that may already have ample moisture.
Hard Drives All the efforts provide a nice ambience on the course, Holgersen said.
