Laptop Battery One of the biggest and most powerful cranberry growers in New Jersey has agreed to give an environmental group more time to raise money to buy 9,400 acres he owns in the Pinelands in Burlington County.

Canon A letter endorsed by three former state governors, Thomas Kean, Brendan T. Byrne and James Florio, has been sent to Gov. James E. McGreevey, asking that the state to get involved in the conservation foundation's transaction with DeMarco, Ryan said.
Desktop Pc Elaine Makatura, spokeswoman for the state Department of Environmental Pro-tection, said it would be inappropriate for the state to contribute money to the deal, given that the DEP is still involved in an ongoing dispute with DeMarco over a 1998 freshwater wetlands violation case.
Desktop Computers "Certainly we agree with the value of the conservation of this land," she said, "but as long as there are substantial environmental violations that are unresolved, the (DEP) commissioner (Bradley Campbell) has expressed that he thought that it was inappropriate for us to come forth with any more funding."
Think Pad The property being sought by the foundation connects five state-owned properties, Wharton, Bass River, Greenwood, Penn and Brendan T. Byrne state forests.
Repair DeMarco said he's selling the land because he plans eventually to leave the cranberry business.
Data Recovery The tract is home to a number of endangered or threatened species such as the Pine Barrens tree frog and bald eagle. It has thousands of acres of wetlands and upland forests, including 600 acres of Atlantic white cedar swamp and 1,500 acres of reservoirs.
