Warp Pipe was a two part process. At first, I had the idea of tunneling LAN-based games after I heard about them at E3 (Kirby, Mario Kart, and F-zero -- at the time). I preordered Kirby Air Ride from play-asia and received it the day before the JPN street date. Using my time wisely, I tested the GCN activity on a network and released a spec of the cube's online communication. Then the specification got attention on Slashdot and I was able to recruit a great dev. team. I cannot say how great this team is. Our lead developer (the one doing all the core network code) doesn't even have a broadband adapter, no less broadband. He's on dial up!

We have 3 developers. Nathan (Lead Daemon developer, responsible for all netcode ports). Tushar (Windows GUI, Server for post-beta release, and windows installer). Matt (OSX GUI and works with Nathan on the OSX port).

Alpha for OSX is roughly scheduled for a public release of early next week. This could change.
