his career at Six Continents Hotels as Director, Data Warehouse, in
1997. Among the many IT groups and projects for which Mr. Burns has
been responsible are the initial development and deployment of the
PeopleSoft enterprise resource planning system, and, more recently,
the management of all IT aspects for Six Continents Hotels`
Symphony Strategy. This initiative entails the deployment of three
strategic IT systems -- for central reservations, revenue
management, and property management -- that will more tightly align
business processes with technology management to enhance revenues
and efficiency.
