REDWOOD SHORES, Calif. 22-FEB-2006 Oracle today announced its systems management support of the Microsoft .NET Framework and Microsoft Windows Server System, including Microsoft SQL Server, further reducing the complexity and cost of managing information technology (IT) environments where Microsoft and Oracle coexist. Oracle has extended the capabilities of Oracle Enterprise Manager 10g Grid Control (Oracle Grid Control) enabling joint Microsoft and Oracle customers to monitor their applications and services more efficiently through a single, integrated management solution.

Generally available today are seven new Plug-Ins that give Oracle Grid Control monitoring, service level management, and diagnostic capabilities for .NET Framework and Windows Server System. With improved insight into the performance of .NET and Windows Server System, Oracle Grid Control allows system administrators to effectively detect and resolve issues in diverse IT environments to deliver a higher quality of service.
