Pre-E3: History Of Videogames Museum
Laptop Battery Intellivision and the Classic Games Expo this week announced that they will be creating a 2000 square foot "History of Videogames" museum in the Kentia Hall during E3 next month. The hands-on museum will feature over 30 classic arcade cabinets, a 1980s-type living room exhibit featuring classic consoles and computers like the Atari 2600, Apple II, Commodore 64, and Magnavox Odyssey. In addition, Intellivisions Blue Sky Rangers will be there to talk about the early days of programming videogames.
"Intellivision is extremely excited and proud to be the sponsor of the History of Video Games museum. The guys at the Classic Gaming Expo have a deep affection for the history and the games that started it all and have always been strong supporters of Intellivision Productions. We are thrilled to give attendees the opportunity to learn how this whole video-game craziness started, as well as give them the opportunity to play the original games that are now the forefathers of the ones they play on today's consoles," said Keith Robinson, President and Co-founder of Intellivision Productions.
According to the indictment, Jones would steal various IBM and Penguin computer servers from Verisign's warehouse in Virginia and sell them to Johnson. Johnson would then sell the servers to several individuals, who would sometimes place them for sale on eBay. As a result of this scheme, the indictment alleges that Jones and Johnson caused Verisign to lose more than $120, 000 worth of computer equipment. In the indictment, Jones and Johnson are charged in three counts with causing the interstate transportation of stolen property, namely IBM 330 and 335 servers, in violation of 18 U.S.C.
