Laptop Battery Township Committee believes it finally has solved the conflict between Hemlock Lane homeowners and the rental companies that use the cul-de-sac as a drop-off point for their canoe and kayak tours.

Microsoft But environmental activist Fred Akers says not so fast. Akers plans to fight Cokenakes' project on the grounds that it violates Pinelands Commission zoning laws and could result in harm to the wetlands on Cokenakes' property.

Laptop Computer Cokenakes' river property is 3.2 acres, a portion of which is wetlands. Akers said he is worried that Cokenakes already has begun cutting down wetlands to provide a walking path for his rental customers.

Desktop Computer Committeemen Robert Mattle - who co-chaired a committee to look into various issues along the river - supports Cokenakes' application to launch a rental facility at his property on Mays Landing-Dacosta Road.
Notebooks "We looked at many alternative sites and we learned that Mr. Cokenakes owned a site on the river which would not impact the neighborhood," Mattle said. "The main goal of the committee was to get the traffic out of the neighborhood."
Lenovo The river committee formed after Hemlock Lane residents complained that the canoe rental companies were bringing their trailers into their small cul-de-sac, causing loud disturbances and blocking access to driveways.
Hard Drive As part of the proposal to the Pinelands Commission, both Palace Pizza and Winding River Campground would stop using Hemlock Lane as a drop-off point for customers.
Travelstar Akers provided the committee with ecological-impact studies and information on the cumulative impact of too many tubers using the river. He said his input "was not properly recognized or considered."
Gateway "Only two meetings were held," Akers said. "It appears the appointment of the river committee was a stalling tactic to find a way to enable Mike Cokenakes' business interests."
Laptop Parts Mattle said the committee was "more than fair" and additional meetings have not been ruled out.
Software "We've heard all the sides and right now we've exhausted every option," Mattle said.
Hard Drives Mattle said the river committee supports Cokenakes' application and he thinks the Township Committee will as well.
Electronics "We'll see what happens," Mattle said. "We're trying to work something out amicably."
Canon Akers plans to voice his opposition to the Pinelands Commission. He said he does not expect the Pinelands Commission to approve Cokenakes' application.
Desktop Pc "It would set a very dangerous precedent," Akers said.
Desktop Computers Cokenakes did not return a phone call to his business.
