The Winners Of The Spike TV VGA's
Laptop Battery Spike TV may be busy heavily promoting their Video Game Awards show for its air time in December, but it turns out that the whole affair already came to a close yesterday when the event was taped at the Gibson Ampitheatre in Los Angeles.
As was expected, the show was a hotbed of movie stars and singers praising the winners of categories which were voted on by both industry veterans and Spike TV viewers. Samuel L. Jackson served as the MC and many stars such as 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg (last year's host), Carmen Electra, The Rock, Vin Diesel, and Carson Daly made appearences.
As for who were the big winners, World of Warcraft took home the most awards for Best Multiplayer Game, Best PC Game, Best RPG, and Most Addictive Game Fueled by Mountain Dew. Another big winner was the critically acclaimed action horror game from Capcom, Resident Evil 4, which won the coveted Game of the Year award as well as the award for Best Graphics.
Despite all the efforts to streamline the awards show, it seems as things still aren't going perfectly as was apparent when a significant portion of the audience headed for the doors after Missy Elliot made a climactic performance, before the final Game of the Year award was even presented. Awards for Best Gaming Publication, Best Gaming Website, and Best Gaming Blog were not announced at the show.

According to the indictment, Jones would steal various IBM and Penguin computer servers from Verisign's warehouse in Virginia and sell them to Johnson. Johnson would then sell the servers to several individuals, who would sometimes place them for sale on eBay. As a result of this scheme, the indictment alleges that Jones and Johnson caused Verisign to lose more than $120, 000 worth of computer equipment. In the indictment, Jones and Johnson are charged in three counts with causing the interstate transportation of stolen property, namely IBM 330 and 335 servers, in violation of 18 U.S.C.
