It works fine for that purpose and I m very satisfied with it. It takes great photos, is very light weight and I find the swivel lens very convenient. The VR is also very effective. canon

This is the second SanDisk flash drive I ve owned and I ve been very pleased with both. The software is almost there. However, the synchronization and encryption, to me, is still too klunky to use on a continual basis. I find it easier to just use Windows file management. I really like the slide in/out USB connector. I hated fooling with the end caps on the earlier model. I m a doctoral student and I use a lot of different systems and I use the SanDisk almost daily and it s performed well. The only reason I ve give some 4 ratings above is because of the software not the hardware. wipro

of 5 Great product, but a little wide Tuesday, April 03, 2007 A Customer from Durham, NC This is a great device, especially for the money. I tried it on both PCs and Macs, and it works great (though U3 doesn t work on Macs). The only problem I had, and this is a small one, is that it s a little wider than similar products. I also own a 2GB Kingston U3 USB2.0 flash drive, and on computers where the USB ports are very close together and stacked vertically, the SanDisk drive is a bit wide to fit comfortably with other devices already plugged in, where the Kingston drive fit perfectly. I still was able to plug it in, but it was tight and put pressure on the surrounding USB cables. The SanDisk drive is less than 1 wide, but it s noticeably wider than typical USB cables. The thickness was not a problem with any of the computers or hubs I tried it with. If you don t have to worry about USB ports that are very close vertically, you won t have a problem. All in all, I m very happy with this. 5 stars for everything except the Ease of Use category, and there I gave it 4. refurbished

Great product! This is the 4th USB drive I have owned and the U3 feature along with the huge 4GB storage is by far the best. I had a more rugged drive on my keychain in the past with rubber grips and a cap wich I kept loosing so the retractable connection is a great feature. The casing is all plastic and feels a bit flimsy so I have not put it on my keychain, but it comes with its own carry cord with detachable clip.
