Were able to use Desktop Alert to proactively grab viewers attention, alerting them to critical news and weather information, said Nancy Cassutt, IBS vice president of content. With 35,000 new subscribers in January alone, Desktop Alert has become a significant traffic driver to our partners sites and has the potential to be a valuable promotional tool to drive on-air viewership.
