Laptop Battery Forests and lakes aren't the only things worth preserving in West Milford Township, say the local history buffs who have their eye on centuries-old buildings in town.

In the indictment, Jones and Johnson are charged in three counts with causing the interstate transportation of stolen property, namely IBM 330 and 335 servers, in violation of 18 U.S.C.

Microsoft The West Milford Historic Preservation Commission is asking residents to accept another layer of regulations on their environmentally protected properties: The commission wants to establish a historic district along Union Valley and Macopin roads, which would limit changes made to historically significant buildings.

Laptop Computer The proposal has received a chilly reception from property owners, who are fearful of increasing environmental regulations and a virtual building ban imposed by the Highlands preservation act. They see the plan as yet another way to lose control over their investments.

Gateway "There's a certain appeal to the street, to the area," Township Planner William Drew said. "A designation would ensure that the community appeal would be ensured going forward."
Laptop Parts Before the public hearing, the Planning Board sent letters to each property owner, asking whether they favored the designation. Not one owner wrote they supported the project, Drew said.
Software The commission held the first of several public hearings on the proposed district this month. More hearings will follow, and the matter will eventually be presented to the Township Council for its vote.
