Staff Starcraft's LX series includes a pair of cuddy-cabin models aimed at families who want more comfort and shelter than an open boat delivers but aren't looking to move into a big, boxy cruiser. Of the two, the cabin on the 20-foot 2012 model is better suited for short naps, storage and shelter for the weather, while the closely related 2212 offers the possibility of basic, overnight accommodation. The cabin includes a screened hatch for ventilation, cabin lighting, sleeping space for two adults, and a portable toilet.
