Installing MathPro 4.02

Electronics On the CD you will find a program named setup. Run it to begin the MathPro installation. Alternatively, you can click on the Start Button, and select run. Enter

 e:\setup 

Canon where "e:\" represents the drive letter of your CD-ROM. If it is a different letter, enter that instead.

Desktop Pc Follow the instructions provided within the installation program.

Windows NT and 2000 known issues

Cisco Some sound cards are incompatible with MathPro on Windows NT and Windows 2000. If you receive an error message when trying to play the videos, indicating that there may be problems with your audio, press "continue". If you do not hear any audio, please contact your sound card manufacturer for the latest drivers and support.

If you upgraded MathPro Explorer 3.0 books...

Monitor Open the CONVERT.LOG in your install directory to see if your login has changed.

Desktop Installing MathPro Explorer 4.02 upgrades requires that you upgrade all existing MathPro Explorer 3.0 books in the same install location on your machine/hard drive so that they run with the enhanced version of the program.

You will have a new folder on your local drive called "MathPro Explorer". Each book installed will be within a "MathPro Explorer" directory. Click the Start button and chose Programs to access the Program Folder for the desired book. You may run the MathPro Explorer application for the book, the MathPro Help, the Glossary, or the Administrator Program from this group. Access to the Explorations is available from within the program.
