Laptop Computer Nature Explorers will meet from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Thursdays in four-week sessions, offered four times throughout the year. The cost for one four-week session is $28 for members of the New Jersey Audubon Society and $40 for non-members.

"When I teach about monarch butterflies, I may have the children pretend to be butterflies. Travelstar A future goal is to start a class for grades two to four about investigative nature so children can continue to "grow up" at the center.
Gateway "What children learn tends to spread to their parents," she said. "If kids learn to conserve, sometimes they teach it to their parents. I've found time and again that it does make a difference how early you teach children about nature. The younger you get them to love it, the better."
Laptop Parts Registration is not needed for Nature Explorers, but parents are asked to call if they plan to attend the first class on Sept. 26. Parents may drop off children. They do not have to stay for the class.
