(Nasdaq: RIMM) appealed a lower court patent infringement case to the US Supreme Court, the maker of BlackBerry handheld e-mail devices thought it was going to prevail. But on Monday, the US Supreme Court rejected that appeal, sending the case back to the lower court where an injunction against RIM had been ordered.
