March Unkind To Big N
According to NPD numbers for March, Nintendo took a hit compared to the same period last year in both hardware and software sales. Nintendo hardware sales declined a whopping 43 percent while GameCube software sales declined 22 percent. No titles for Nintendo hardware managed to crack the top five for the month, all five spots went to Sony. On the whole video game software sales rose 32 percent despite Nintendo's woes.
