More Resident Evil 4 Details
Laptop Battery In the latest issue of Nintendo Power, Capcom let loose on some new details regarding the upcoming and much-anticipated GameCube exclusive, Resident Evil 4.
One fact that was addressed was the classification of the "villagers" in the game. They are not zombies but rather el ganado; spanish for "the cattle".
Hiroyuki Kobayashi of Capcom also noted that there are very few "small areas" within the game. Capcom wanted players to traverse through rather large areas throughout the game so that the "el ganado" could ambush players from all sides rather than just from the front and back.
RE4 will also incorporate a night and day simulation; gradually shifting from daylight to darkness as players travel through the game. Other than that this feature will be utilized, nothing else about the day/night simulation was revealed.
As Resident Evil 4 gets closer and closer to its release, GCA will have the latest on this much anticipated title.
