Microsoft Feb 17, 2005 (AXcess News) Washington - Former Democratic presidential candidate Al Sharpton and conservative pundit Armstrong Williams agreed on little Wednesday as they discussed the role of black voters, who are showing signs of a dramatic shift.While Williams argued blacks could find a voice in the Republican Party, Sharpton suggested neither party is addressing the increasing unemployment rates and poor education that plague black communities.

Desktop Computer Williams said blacks have had unprecedented access to political power since the 1960s civil rights movement and pointed to the rise of black leaders under Republicans, such as President George W. Bush's appointments of Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice and former secretary Colin Powell.
